At 3:26 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, the Dunn County Communications Center received a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of USH 12 and County Road K in the Township of Lucas. The caller reported multiple occupants of one vehicle were all entrapped.


The Dunn County Sheriff's Office, Menomonie Fire Department, Wisconsin State Patrol and a Mayo helicopter responded to the scene.


The preliminary investigation indicates a Lincoln Continental was southbound on County Road K and failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of USH 12. The Lincoln Continental was struck by a westbound Jeep Grand Cherokee. Visibility does not appear to be a factor at the time of this crash.


There were three occupants in the Lincoln Continental. One occupant of the Lincoln Continental was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second occupant was airlifted by Mayo Helicopter and the third occupant was transported by ambulance, both with serious injuries. The two occupants of the Jeep Grand Cherokee were treated for minor injuries and released.


The crash remains under investigation by the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office Dunn County Medical Examiner’s Office and Wisconsin State Patrol.

The names of the occupants are being withheld pending family notification.

At 1:27 p.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021, the Dunn County Communications Center received a report of a two-vehicle head-on crash on 980th Ave, west of 370th St. in Hay River township. The caller reported one of the vehicle’s involved was on fire with two occupants entrapped.


The Dunn County Sheriff's Office, Boyceville Police Department, Boyceville Fire and EMS, Menomonie EMS, Wisconsin State Patrol and two life-link helicopters responded to the scene.


Upon arrival, Deputies and Officers were able to free the two occupants from the burning vehicle.


The preliminary investigation indicates a Dodge Neon with two occupants was eastbound on 980th Ave and a Chevrolet Silverado with one occupant was westbound. The two vehicles hit head-on at the crest of a hill.


The two occupants of the Dodge Neon sustained serious injuries and were airlifted from the scene by Life-link helicopters. The one occupant of the Chevrolet Silverado was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.


The crash remains under investigation by the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin State Patrol.

The names of the occupants are being withheld pending family notification.

As an update to the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office’s quadruple homicide investigation, Antoine Darnique Suggs, date of birth 06/26/1983 turned himself into Gilbert, Arizona Police Department today on our warrant. Suggs has been living in the Phoenix, AZ area recently before traveling back to Minnesota in the last couple of weeks. At this time, it’s unknown how Suggs traveled back to Arizona this week.


Suggs has not been interviewed yet so we have no new information to release at this time.


He will be transported to Maricopa County Jail in Phoenix, AZ awaiting extradition to Wisconsin.


This investigation will continue along with the assistance of St. Paul Police Department, Minnesota BCA and the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigations.
